Character: White solid, soluble in water, alcohol, but not in ether. It is easy to absorb moisture and dehydrate in the air. It can react with carbon dioxide to produce potassium carbonate. So it can be used to absorb carbon dioxide. Basic uses: Inorganic industry is used as raw material for the production of potassium salts, such as potassium hydrogen phosphate. The daily chemical industry is used as raw materials for making potassium soap, washing soap, shampoo soft soap, snow cream, cold cream, shampoo, etc. Pharmaceutical industry is used to manufacture raw materials such as vanillin.
